Local 20/20 Join one of these citizen action groups to promote sustainability in our community, and all of which have a role in reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and/or preparing for climate impacts:
The Climate Action group under the Local 20/20 umbrella, which manages this website, focuses on both climate outreach and climate adaptation. We welcome your participation! Climate Action Committee (CAC) Attend a meeting of the CAC, appointed by Jefferson County and Port Townsend City governments to advise on greenhouse gas reduction and preparing for climate impacts.
Olympic Climate Action (OCA) “is a group of local citizens on the Olympic Peninsula concerned about climate change, both in our community and worldwide. We seek solutions at every level, from local to international; we tend to focus on the home front, but the implications often reach far and wide.
